Based on the Virtual Building™ technology of ArchiCAD 16 Teamwork, ArchiCAD Start BIM Suite has been tailored to the needs of the smaller design studio and to sub-contractors working with larger studios.
ArchiCAD's tried and tested Virtual Building™ concept stores all the information about your project in a central database from which the drawings and documentation are quickly and efficiently produced. Intelligent model-based workflows allow automated, fully coordinated and accurate documentation, while eliminating costly, tedious re-working. Changes made in one view are automatically updated in all others, eliminating unnecessary repetitive amendments.
ArchiCAD Start BIM Suite continues the OPEN Design Collaboration workflow with IFC optimisations and improvements to model change detection, and introduces new documentation tools for renovation, refurbishment and retrofit projects. Other major formats, including DXF, DWG, DGN, and 3DS are also supported.
Graphisoft's Start BIM Suite is powered by ArchiCAD 16 Solo. You can upgrade from Solo to Teamwork at any time and, as both versions use the same file format and are fully compatible, continue working in existing projects in the Teamwork version.
